Stages of Awakening

At what stage are you?

Victimhood

In this stage, you are actually not awake. It is you versus the world and life is quite a desperation. This typically happens when you are still operating through your experience downloaded from your past.

It helps you to survive but not to thrive and prosper and awaken.

This is a temporary stage. If you are in this stage you will be in complaining mode or blaming people or situations/circumstances. In this stage, you look into the world as “problem is out there”.

Empowerment

You have the energy to rule the planet. You set and achieve goals. You use laws of attraction and empowerment to make things happen. You operate from your mind. You work on what you want.

You form your own beliefs which keep you in this stage of awakening. You take complete responsibility for your life in the true sense.

This is the most likely stage that you are in and possibly you are also happy to be in this stage.

Surrender

When you realize that you cannot always be in charge and you are not the operating force of the universe. You have the power but at times you cannot go beyond…for example, terminal illness or loss of a loved one or any other catastrophe.

You do not become a victim again but you climb up, you surrender yourself to the higher power. You actually start accessing the field of infinite possibilities. You start accessing the more intelligent life force. You start accessing intuition.

You do not give up or you do not allow things to happen that possibly happen if you are in a stage of victimhood. You continue to take action.

This is very subtle. It is like you are surfing the wave of life. You are aligning to the higher power; you are not empowered by self but you are empowered by a second degree – the force of the universe.

Not many people even know about this stage, let alone achieve it.

In this, you are co-creating with the universe.

Awakening

This is a stage of enlightenment. This is beyond the mind and therefore the mind cannot understand it. You totally surrender your Ego to the divine. In other words, the divine operates through you and the divine acts through you.

This comes with grace. You can prepare yourself for the stage through clearing techniques like meditation.

The clearing is also a process through which you wash away your limiting beliefs. It is about rewiring / unwiring the software of your brain that has been downloaded from your past.

This is the psychology of consciousness. The clearing is the most important thing that you can do to move through these stages of awakening and evolve.

Innervolve. Update your software. Be more. Do more.

Your Personal Vision and Mission Statement

While doing this, it occurred to me that the vision I have for my work is closely related to my personal vision. Having a job that reflects my personal vision is powerful because it has allowed me to create a business […]

Dream. And manifest them!

“You know, there are two good things in life, freedom of thought and freedom of action.” Somerset Maugham, the famous English playwright, novelist and short-story writer said this. This is an amazing and powerful quote that everyone should stop and really think about.  There’s nothing better than having your own freedom in your life.  It […]

Conflict Management. What is your habitual style?

We are all different. We also, by default, operate from the mindset of scarcity and separation. This is the unconscious training that we get from our childhood experiences. We all learn unknowingly, through repeated experience how we view difference and conflict. We have learnt that someone got what they wanted, and someone didn’t. When this […]

Losing is not an option!

Losing is when you do not get the result that you want. Winning or Losing is not in your control. What is in control is your effort. This is true. Let us call Life a game. And in this game, you play with yourself every day. You make decisions. Big or small. Consciously or sub-consciously. […]

It is Not about Winning. It is about Not Losing to Self.

Let me start with a story. This happened sometime back. My son plays competitive tennis. In one of the AITA (All India Tennis Association) tournaments, he was playing with a relatively weaker player but still lost the match. When I asked him after the match, what happened? My son responded Papa, he (the opponent) was […]
